Our Work

What a job actually looks like

We are building this gallery with photographs from our own sites in Agra. Until they are up, here is something more useful than someone else’s stock photo: what to look for when you are judging whether waterproofing has been done properly.

How To Judge The Work

Five things worth checking on any waterproofing job

Whether it is us or anyone else doing the work, these are the things that separate a repair that lasts from one that looks finished.

Was the surface actually prepared?

Ask to see the terrace after preparation and before coating. Loose material and old failed coating should be gone, cracks should be cut and filled, and ponding areas corrected. Coating applied over a poor surface will peel, and you will not find out for a year.

Were the details treated separately?

Parapet junctions, drain mouths and pipe penetrations should be sealed and reinforced before the general coating. If a contractor rolls straight across the terrace and calls it done, the details are where it will fail.

Was the coverage rate respected?

Every system has a specified quantity per square metre. Stretching the material further is the easiest way to cut cost invisibly. Ask how much material was used and compare it against what the datasheet says it should be.

Was it allowed to cure?

Coats need time between them, and the finished system needs time before it takes water. A job that finishes suspiciously fast usually finishes twice.

Was it water-tested?

On wet areas and tanks, testing before reinstating tiles or refilling is the only way to know it worked. It is a small amount of extra time that saves reopening the whole thing.

Did you get it in writing?

What system was used, over what area, in how many coats. If a problem comes back, that record is what makes the conversation straightforward.

See our work in the meantime

We post from live sites on Instagram — work in progress, finished terraces, and the kind of detail that does not photograph well but decides whether a job lasts. It is the most current picture of what we are doing.
